Whether it be designing and building Bridges, Catapults or Cranes, there is a desire by almost all professionals within Technical Education to try to adhere to and engage fully with the outcomes of the recently introduced Curriculum For Excellence. Although in its current form, this site may not address all of the issues, it should be a good starting point on the route to success for some. Through time the content and the diversity of exemplars at the core of this resource will be enhanced to allow a more comprehensive and fuller understanding of what is expected.

Wilhelm’s work is founded upon good practice that correlates well with both school and industry requirements.

Pupils study a program of work from S1 through to the end of S3 that should
prepare them to deal with the follow on courses, typically at National 4 level..

A broad general education is delivered that offers the pupils the opportunity of
interdisciplinary work.

Pupils study a program of work that will allow them to progress towards
National 5 level

It is seen to be set at a level that is comparable with the former General level
at Standard Grade.

Pupils study a program of work that will allow them to progress towards Higher
level.

It is seen to be set at a level that is comparable with the former Credit level at
Standard Grade.
